High School. She is the daughter of
Stanley and Diane Hauser Brown,

the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Jack Hauser of Kings Mountain
and the late Mr. and Mrs. Dion
Brown, formerly of Kings
Mountain.
Miss Brown was selected saluta-
torian at Ledford Senior High. She
plans to attend N.C. State
University and major in chemistry.
At Ledford, she was a junior
marshal, member of the Quiz Bowl
team, .secretary:. of the
Stand& Gavel Club, vice president
of the Science Club, and a member
of the Spanish Club and Beta Club.
She won academic awards in
science, English, mathematics and
theatre arts. She attended
Governor's School and Summer

Mathematics.

1945 will hold a reunion at the
Gaston Country Club. This is the
50th anniversary of the Class of
1944 but the classes of 1943 and
1945 are also invited.
