ROUNTREE GROVER - Glenn Ross Rountree, 83, of 156 Rountree Road, died June 4. 1994 at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain, A native of Emmanuel C ounty, Ga. he was a retired merchant and truck driver. He was the son of the late Charles Ross and Iris Parrish Rountree. He was a member and Elder of Shiloh Presbyterian Church in Grover, was a charter member of the Grover Lions Club, and was a Mason and Shriner. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette "Jackie" Harry Rountree; two sons, William Harry Rountree of Mt. Airy and Joel Ross Rountree of Grover; two daughters, Mrs. Jaquitha Rountree Reid of Kings Mountain and Mrs. Holly Rountree Godfrey of Grover; a brother, Bradley Rountree of Augusta, Ga; a sister, Mrs. Montine Patchell of Ogden, Utah; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. The funeral was conducted by the Rev. Nancy Mugford Monday at 5 p.m. at Shiloh Presbyterian Church. Burial was in Grover Cemetery. PAYSOUR Violet Hamm Paysour, 69, of 1017 A. Linwood Road, Kings Mountain, died June 1, 1994 at Brian Center in Lincolnton. A native of Cleveland County, she was a retired textile worker. She was the daughter of the late Amos and Salley Frances Huffstetler Hamm. : She is survived by her husband, George T. Paysour; four stepsons, George Paysour Jr. of Shelby, Guy Dean Paysour of Bessemer City, Jerry Lee Paysour of Kings Mountain and Donald Mitchell Paysour of Bessemer City; and two sisters, Margaret Greene and Helen Henson of King Mountain. A graveside service was con- ducted by the Rev. Eugene Land Friday at 11 a.m. at Mountain Rest Cemetery. W.M. "BUDDY" BELL William Miles "Buddy" Bell, 49, of 4012 Chestnutwood Drive, Kings Mountain, died June 2, 1994 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. A Gaston County native, he was the son of the late Henson and Hazel Louise Thornburg Bell. He was employed as a foreman with Southwest Acoustics of Bessemer City. He was a member of Piedmont Baptist Church, Kings Mountain, and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Loftin Bell; a son, Michael Wray of Kings Mountain; two daughters, Jacqueline Rose Hale and Denise Bell Coble of Kings Mountain; a sister, Carolyn Bell Martin of Kings Mountain; and five grandchildren. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Adam G. and Annie Padgett Whisnant, and wife of the late Clifford R. Jones. She was retired from Ora Mill Co. and was a merh- ber of Lattimore Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph McHaffey and A.G. Whisnant Jr. She is survived by two sons, Bobby G. Jones of Kings Mountain and Max D. Jones of Lattimore; a daughter, Mrs. Elsie Jones Weathers of Cliffside; six sisters, Mrs. Billie Mae Hamrick of Belvedere, SC, Beth Stewart and Patricia Ellis of Shelby, Jeannine McAdoo of Washington, D.C., Geraldine McDade of Vacuville, Calif., and Emma Sue Anger of Boiling Springs; nine grandchil- dren, Michael, Ronald, Sandra and Terry Weathers and Brad, Bryan, Jennifer, Joshua and Katie Jones: and two great-grandchildren, Mary [ela and Tatum Weathers.
