| Police Report ‘Shooting accident fatal to BC teen 3 A Bessemer City teen-ager is ~ dead after what Cleveland County © police said was a shooting accident Tuesday at 178 E.A. Bingham Road near Kings Mountain. Sammy Craig Campbell Jr., 13. of 132 Coho Road. Bessemer City, reportedly was camping out with was scratched at Kings Mountain Hosiery. Handy Pantry reported theft of beer valued at $19.04. The suspect was de- scribed as a 35-year-old black male of slender build with black hair and wear- ing a white golf shirt and green shorts. Sondra Morales, 89 Pine Manor. re- Gaston Memorial's Department of Psychiatry has opened an off- site, outpatient psychiatric center for patients 18 and older. Patients attend scheduled therapeutic activi- ties during the day, but return home at night. This program serves as an alternative to inpatient care by pro- viding "partial hospitalization." The partial hospital program serves up to 15 patients each day. Therapeutic activities include spe- cialized group meetings, vocational counseling, medical education and exercise sessions. As the program grows, additional services includ- ing evening programs for sub- stance abusers, community educa- tion sessions, marital and family counseling, and group therapy for specific issues such as divorce or child rearing may be offered.
