Davis, 69, former resident of Kings Mountain, died October 28, 1994. A native of Kings Mountain, he was the son of the late Frank and Bessie Stepp Davis. He was a retired federal employee. "You just live every day to the fullest and don't worry about tomorrow," said Sharon, who is now the mother of a handsome little boy, D.J., sev- en months. During the last months of their daughter's life, Sharon and her husband spent every minute with her and at her death bed they said they saw Winter reach her hands upward towards heaven.
