The Women's Resource Center
of Cleveland County will be at
Cleveland Mall from 10 a.m.-4
p.m. Sat., March 4 to fingerprint,
measure, weigh, photograph and
videotape children up to age 18 in
conjunction with the Association
of Childhood Education
International "Children
Entertaining Children."
There will be a charge of 75
cents for a Polaroid picture to at-
tach to the ID card, and a charge of
$1.50 for a three-minute videotape.
All other services will be free. For

which runs March: 1-31, is
$40,000.
The Pioneer Council annually
provides more than 4,000 girls
with Girl Scouting in Cleveland,
Gaston, Lincoln and Rutherford
counties. The annual giving cam-
paign is run by volunteers in each
county, including Julia P. Rankin,
greater Belmont; Diane Chandler,
. Gastonia; Mary Frances Mauney
- and Carolyn Summer, Cherryville;
: Susan S. Horvat, Lincolnton;

Support Groups
planned at Gaston
Gaston Memorial Hospital is
starting a support group for pa-
tients with Crohn's
Disease/Ulcerative Colitis and their
families. Crohn's disease is an in-
flammation and sometimes ulcera-
tive condition of the gastrointesti-
nal tract. Ulcerative colitis
primarily effects the large intestine.
Symptoms include cramping, diar-
rhea, rectal bleeding, fever and
sometimes weight loss.
The next meeting will be held
Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. in
Classrooms 1 and 2 at Gaston
Memorial. For more information,

Cleveland County, the Oak Grove
Volunteer Fire Department, and the
Kings Mountain Rescue Squad, as
well as being a member of the
Postal Advisory Council for Kings
Mountain. He is also a member of
Cleveland Masonic Lodge #202
AF & AM and the Piedmont
Shrine Club. As a hobby, Brooks is
an airplane pilot and member of
the Civil Air Patrol.

locations and over $90,000 in as-
sets while serving Cleveland and
Rutherford counties.
