Page 4B-THE KINGS MOUNTAIN HERALD-Thursday, June 1, 1995 I J N NN Has the journey come to an end or has it only just begun? Each graduate shall provide a unique answer. The renowned writer William Shakespeare described the world as a stage and each of us as players. The life of each graduate is the material of a script which determines the part he or she plays in the advancement of humankind. Now the graduate takes center stage, both literally and figuratively. Every diploma is a key to advancement, either through further education or the pur- suit of a chosen career. That coveted key . . . that piece of parchment representing sleepless nights, perspiration and perse- verance, can open endless doors . . . doors leading to the discoveries which will determine the degree of advancement of civilization in the twenty-first century. Finally, yet most importantly, may each graduate include God in their endeavors, for Prov. 16:23 says, “The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips.” KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM - East School kindergarten present- ed a program entitled "Our Kindergarten year." The program consist- ed of songs, poems and dances related to subjects and themes studied throughout the year. In top photo students in Mrs. Anthony's and Mrs. Horne's classes perform "A Trip Through the Alphabet. In lower photo, Andy Allen, Joe Gladden, Michael Hartman and Shon Sheffield dance to "Head and Shoulders."
