Central Carolina Bank has an-
nounced its new management team
in Kings Mountain.
Robert A. "Alex" Miller has
been named first vice-president
and community executive heading
up offices in both Kings Mountain
and Bessemer City; Nancy Scism,
vice-president and city manager;
Susie Sellers, vice-president and
mortgage loan officer; and Sandra
Stone, consumer loan officer.
The four officers join CCB
through merger with Security
Capital Bancorp.
Miller joined Security Bank in
1984 as senior vice-president and
loan administrator. He was also re-
sponsible for retail banking and
managed Security Capital
Bancorp's merger with First
Federal of Charlotte. He also
served as regional executive, mar-
keting manager and supervisor of
First Security Credit Corporation, a
subsidiary of Security Capital
Bancorp and compliance officer.
With Security Capital Bancorp
since 1963, Scism has held numer-
ous positions such as teller, loan
officer and director. She graduated
from Bethware High School and
has completed courses through the
Institute of Financial education.
She is the president and past cam-
paign chairman of KM United
Fund. A native of Kings Mountain,
she is married to Charles Scism
and they have two children, Phillip
and Charlotte.
During her banking career,
Sellers served as teller, customer
service representative, loan proces-
sor and loan originator. She gradu-
ated from Bessemer City High
School, attended Gaston College
and took courses through The
Institute of Financial Education.
She is married to Gary Sellers of
Kings Mountain and they have one
child, Jamie.
Stone joined Security Capital
Bancorp in 1977 and has held the
positions of teller, customer service
representative and escrow clerk.
She'is a native of Kings Mountain
and‘a graduate of Kings Mountain
High School. She and her husband,
William, and their children,
William and Lyndi, reside in Kings
Mountain.

Rouge.
His community service over 15
years included president of the
Salisbury Rotary Club, on the
board of directors and executive
committee of the YMCA and the
Salisbury Symphony Orchestra
board.
A native of Columbia, SC, he is
married to Dr. Anne Courtney
Miller, assistant professor in the
Department of Curriculum and
Instruction at UNC at Greensboro.
They have two children, Courtney,
a graduate of UNC at Chapel Hill
who works with J. P. Morgan in
New York City and Robert, a se-
nior at UNC at Chapel Hill. The
family plans to move from
Salisbury to Kings Mountain.
