“Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee.”
Psalm 55:22
The Bible clearly instructs us to give our problems to God ... to “cast” them upon
Him. Yet, do we give them to God or merely lend them to Him, only taking them back
when the answer is not immediate, or if it is not the one we desire?
Once again the Bible speaks to us ... “Whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer,
believing, ye shall receive” (Matthew 21:22). We must believe that God’s answer is the
correct answer, though it may not seem so at the time. Someone once said,
“Everything in the universe is subject to constant change, and everything is on
schedule.” Is that a contradiction? No, that is a fact.
When you visit God’s house each Sabbath, you will become increasingly aware
of the spirit of God at work in your life. You will come to know peace, trusting Him
with every care. Give Him your problems and take Him at His Word.
