King St. (ERNE | 435-4877 || 739-7776 Es Ronnie Grigg I may not have a political resumé, but I do have some common sense. I think thats the one thing our current city government has forgotten. We keep hearing about financial problems our city has but I wonder what has been done to correct this problem and what has taken so long. After being in management for almost twenty years and a business owner, I ask why are we not cutting some fat to save ourselves and correct this situation. When a business has a crisis situation they look for ways to overcome. Are we doing this? It has taken all summer and the election just a month away for the current council to decide maybe the Sanitation Department does need more money. I ask you why does something so simple take so long. Just ride with these guys one day and you will see that this is not a $5.00 an hour job. If this doesn’t resolve the problem then look at our options. It should not take an election to solve simple problems, just common sense.
