The two-mile walk begins at 9 a.m. on the Washington Street side of the Courtsquare Historical Museum. There is no rain date. Participants will pledges. Sponsor pledges should be for a flat rate, not for how many miles are walked. Pledges of $3 or less should be collected right away, and pledges over $3 may be col- lected at the time of the pledge, or the sponsor may be billed at a later date (usually after the walk). If the walk for sponsor wishes to be billed later, be sure of their mailing address, making sure that there are no errors and that all information given is correct. The walkers who raise the largest dollar amount of sponsor pledges within their age group will be eligible for the following prizes: Ages 3-10 will receive a $50 Toys- R-Us gift certificate donated by the Ocean Blvd. Band, ages 11-17 will receive a 1996 Carowinds Season Pass, and ages 18 years and up will receive a 27" mountain bike donat- ed by Lowery Tool & Design and Variety of classes scheduled at CCC Cleveland Community College's Continuing Education Department is offering a variety of classes. Unless otherwise noted, cost is $35, registration will be held at the first class meeting and North Carolina residents age 65 or older may register free.
