Cancer Society to raffle car
The Cleveland County Unit of
the American Cancer Society is
sponsoring its annual Keep the
Wheels Rolling car giveaway
through December 7.
Tickets for a chance at a 1996
Pontiac Sunfire SE Coupe may be
obtained for a $100 donation to the
American Cancer Society.
Board members will be selling
the tickets and tickets will also be
available by calling Joe Smith at
739-4565. ;
The Sunfire has a compact disc
player, tilt steering wheel, passlock
theft-deterrent system, anti-lock
brakes and driver and passenger
airbags.
The drawing will be held
Thursday, Dec. 7 at 4 p.m. at the
Cleveland County Chamber of
Commerce. Door prizes and re-
freshments will be available at the
drawing.
Proceeds support cancer re-
search. Over the years, the
American Cancer Society has do-
nated more than $90 million to
cancer research.
