3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups water
I pkg. cream cheese, 8 oz.
1 pint Cool Whip

3 cups fresh peaches, sliced and
drained
Cook jello, cornstarch, sugar and
water until it boils - 1 to 2 minutes.
Add peaches. Mix cheese and Cool
Whip together and beat well.
Spread in bottom of pie shells.
Then put in peach and strawberry
"mixture. Top with whip cream and
chill.
FRUIT CAKE

2 sticks butter
1 cup sugar

2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1b. crystallized pineapple
3/4 1b. crystallized cherries
3 cups pecans
1 small bottle lemon and vanilla
flavoring
Cream butter and sugar, add
eggs one at a time and beat. Sift
flour and baking powder, add little
over half to butter mixture. Save
rest for flouring fruit and nuts and
then add to cake mixture. Add fla-
voring last. Bake in 250 degree
oven about 2 1/2 hours.
POUND CAKE
ASPARAGUS CASSEROLE

2 small cans asparagus, drained
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can onion rings
1 cup grated cheese
In a dish arrange everything in
layers with the onion rings always
last. Bake at 350 degrees for about
30 minutes.

2 sticks margarine CASSEROLE
1/2 cup Crisco By JUANITA STEFFY
1 package noodles, 8 oz.
1 cup cooked chicken, cut in
small pieces
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 small can evaporated milk
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup grated cheese
Cook noodles until almost done.
Heat soup and milk together. Add
mayonnaise and cheese. Combine
with noodles and chicken and bake
at 350 degrees for about 30 min-
utes. Yield: 4-6 servings.
SLOPPY JOES

1 tbsp. butter
1 Ib. ground beef
3 cups sugar
S eggs
3 1/2 cups flour
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond
Cream margarine and Crisco
with sugar. Add flavorings. Add
eggs one at a time and beat after
each addition. Add flour with
baking powder and salt alternately
with milk. Pour into greased and
floured tube pan. Cook for 1 hour
20 minutes at 325 degrees.

1/4 cup water
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
hamburger buns
Melt butter in large skillet. Add

1 Ib. light brown sugar
1 Ib. candied cherries
1 1b. shelled pecans
1 1b. candied pineapple
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 oz. lemon extract
6 eggs
4 cups flour
Cream sugar and butter. Add
well beaten egg yolks and lemon
1/4 cup onion and ground beef.
Cook-stirring until meat is broken
up and well browned. Add soup,
catsup, water and mustard. Simmer
five minutes to blend, stirring oc-
extract. Add 3 cups sifted flour casionally. Serve mixture on hot
