Kings Mountain District Schools bands will be well represented this week- end in the South Central District All-State Band. Thirteen students from Kings Mountain Middle and High School were selected to the band based on an individual audition at North Gaston High School January 6. (-)hone licectoriers KM schools to hos Kings Mountain High School and Middle School will play host to over 300 visiting bandsmen and over 100 directors at the All- District Band Clinic January 26-27. Approximately 75 schools will be represented at the two-day clin- ic. The clinic will begin Friday morning and conclude with a pub- lic concert at 3 p.m. in Barnes Auditorium. Features of the clinic include a directors luncheon on Friday, a stu- dent and directors barbecue supper on Friday, featuring a performance by a directors jazz band, and the evening concert on Saturday.
