SARAH S. PARKER
Sarah Summitt Parker, 77, 109
South Watterson Street, Kings
Mountain, died September 16,
1996 at White Oak Manor in
Kings Mountain.
A native of Mecklenburg
County, she was the daughter
of the late Andrell B. and Laura
Mae Ross Summitt Sr. She was a
homemaker and a member of
First Church of the Nazarene,
| Kings Mountain.
She is survived by her son,
Ray Parker of Kings Mountain;
brother, Andrell B. Summitt Jr.
of Bowie, Md.; sister, Pauline
Terris of Kings Mountain; and
two grandchildren.
The funeral was conducted
by the Rev. Mike Doughrity
Wednesday at 11 a.m. at First
Doug Henry, Rick Allen, Bruce
King, Rick Fortner and Tony
Leigh.

The Windiatiners
Motorcycle Club has volun-
teered for Children's Homes of
Cleveland County for the past
seven years. They raise money
throughout the year to provide
Christmas presents for every
Cleveland County child in fos-
ter care, to provide funds for
special needs of children and to
provide the household needs
for the Children's Home.
Because of their work, year-
books are purchased, residents
go to camp and sports equip-
ment is purchased.
All of the club's work culmi-
nates in the "Toy Run" on the
second Sunday of December.
