Page 2A Obituaries THE KINGS MOUNTAIN HERALD JASPER WILSON, JR. Jasper Eugene Wilson, Jr., 72, of 302 E. Washington Ave., died Saturday, October 19, 1996, at Gaston Memorial Hospital. A native of Gaston County, he was the son of the late Jasper E. and Annie Lee Strange Wilson. He is preceded in death by his grandson, Christopher Robert Beaver. He was employed at Reeves Brothers, Osage Plant in Bessemer City. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Myers Wilson of the home; one son, David Keith Wilson of St. Louis, Mo.; two daughters, Karen A. Mathis of Lowell and Rhonda D. Wilson of Gastonia; one brother, Harry D. Wilson of Kings Mountain; and one granddaughter, Susan Elaine Wilson of Gastonia. Funeral services were con- ducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 23, 1996. Rev. David Livingstone, Jr. officiated the ceremony. Burial was in Westview Gardens. A native of Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late Albert C. Widener and wife of the late Eugene M. Mitchell. She was employed at Talon as a packing inspector and was for- mer co-owner of Mitchell's Paint and Body Shop of Kings Mountain. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Teresa Mitchell of Gastonia; daughter, Darlene Mitchell of the home; mother, Ella Parton Widener of Gastonia; brother and sister-in-law, James and Nell Widener of Gastonia; sis- ters and brothers-in-law, Chris and Jack Lamb, Carolyn and James Leophard, all of Gastonia; and two grandchil- dren, Jason and Lori Mitchell of Gastonia. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Arthur and Addie Anthony. He was retired from Minette Mills, Grover, and was a mem- ber of Elizabeth Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elvia Stroup Anthony. He is survived by his wife, Minnie Belle Crawford Anthony; sons, Charles B. The firm will also offer rub- ber stamps, business cards and seals, among other items. Mrs. Regans, wife of Gordon Regans, decided to open her own business after staying at home to teach her son, Erik, 9, at home school. Eric entered Grover Elementary School this year. Daughter, Ashley, 2, will accompany her mother to work every day . The Regans invite the public to see the renovated offices in the burgundy building beside of Kaye and Cindy's Beauty Salon. Revival to begin at Allen Memorial Revival will be held October 27-31 at Allen Memorial Baptist Church, Long Branch Road, Grover. Services are at 11 a.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. nightly. There will be special singing and a nursery will be provided. Guest speaker is Jerry Welch from Casar.
