Morris Blalock, 205 Fairview St., reported that he was struck by a suspect using a pool stick at a bar on Carpenter Street. Police are in- vestigating the incident. Ruth L. McCutcheon, 122 N. City St., reported that she permitted a person to come into her home to use the telephone. She said the sus- pect left with her red zipper bag containing currency, insurance cards and personal papers. Almedia McGill, 64 Pine Manor, reported that her apartment front door was damaged. Mary Ruth Boheler, 311 A West Gold St., reported a first degree burglary and assault with a deadly weapon. Police arrested a suspect. WRECKS ; NOV. 21 A 1990 Oldsmobile operated by Paul Douglas Berbert, 531 Whitehorn Dr., Gastonia, struck a 1983 Ford operated by Sam Tinsley Wilson Jr, on Phifer Road at West Mountain St. Damages were esti- mated at $3500. A 1987 Pontiac operated by Nelda Humphries, Dallas, struck a 1995 Plymouth operated by Joann Frederick, 103 Apple Court, on East King Street. Damages were estimat- ed at $2700. Elvis Whitley, 18, 121 E. Bush St., Gastonia, was cited for driving while license revoked after his 1992 Hyundai struck a 1995 Dodge oper- ated by Leroy Thomas Adams, 912 S. Battleground Ave., on S. Battleground Avenue. Damages were estimated at $1400 to the two vehicles and $25 to a mailbox be- longing to Adams. NOV. 22 A 1985 Pontiac operated by Toy Smith, 702 Rhodes Ave., struck a 1987 Honda operated by Dorothy Teseniar, 103 S. Goforth St., at Juniper and West Mountain Streets. Damages were estimated at $4500. One person was hurt in a two- vehicle wreck at Cansler and King Streets and Marshall Keith Mayberry, 21, Route 1, was cited with failure to stop for a flashing red light. The Mayberry vehicle struck a 1994 Toyota operated by Maribeth Bagwell, 814 Landing St. Apt. 2, doing $600 damage. NOV. 23 Debra Erwin Armstrong, 35, of Dallas, was cited for a stop light vi- olation on Gaston Street when her 1983 Datsun struck a 1995 Ford op- erated by Shirley Henson, 105 N. Tracy St. Damages were estimated at $1800.
