A native of Washington D.C., he was the son of the late Dwight H. and Faith Beam Edwards Sr. He was a graduate of Cherryville High School and Indiana Wesleyan University DOUG BUSH KINGS MOUNTAIN-= Doug Bush, 37, 313 Church Drive, died February 3, 1997 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. A native ' of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Clyde Haywood Bush. He was a painter and a member of Westover Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Ledford Bush of Kings Mountain; son, Stephen Douglas Orr of Bessemer City; mother, Barbara W. Bush of Kings Mountain; and brothers, Chuck Bush, David Martin and Curt Bush, alll of Kings Mountain. The funeral will be conducted by the Rev. WALTER GLADDEN KINGS MOUNTAIN - Walter Gerald Gladden, 61, a resident of White Oak Manor, Shelby, died February 4, 1997 at White Oak Manor. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Earl Odell and Ruby Morris Gladden. He was a former truck driver for Quality Exchange in Kings Mountain and a member of Christopher Road Baptist Church, Shelby. He is survived by his son,’ Dennis Gladden of Kings Mountain; daughter, Kathy Rabb of Kings Mountain; sister, Betty Roper of Kings Mountain; step-sisters, Joyce Hale and Betty Howell of Kings Mountain; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
