QUICHE UNIQUE

3/4 cup shredded Swiss
cheese
3/4 cup Mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup chopped pepperoni
1 Tbsp. chopped green pep-
per
1 Tbsp. chopped green onion,
optional
1 Pet Ritz deep pie shell
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup half and half
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. oregano
Beat an egg and brush on pie
crust. Bake crust at 325 degrees
for 10 minutes. Combine ingre-
dients. Pour into pie shell. Bake
at 325 degrees for 45 minutes.

2 cups self-rising corn meal
legg
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 cup buttermilk, 2 Tbsp.
vinegar plus sweet milk to
equal 1 cup
salt
Mix all ingredients together
thoroughly. Drop by spoonfuls
into deep hot fat heated to 375
degrees preferably that used for
fish. Hush puppies will rise to
top and may be turned once for
even browning. When golden
brown, remove from paper tow-
el to drain excess fat.
SIMPLE APPLE PIE

2 cups apples, grated
1 cup sugar
legg
1/4 stick butter, melted
Mix all ingredients. Pour into
unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350
degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or
until brown.
MEAT AND POTATOES

1 Ib. hamburger meat
1 large onion
1 box potato tots
1 can cream of mushroom
soup
1 cup grated cheese
Spread hamburger meat in
bottom of pan. Place onion
rings on top. Place tater tots on
top. Spread soup on. Add
cheese. Cook about 1 hour at
350 degrees.

2 cups cooked chicken
1 can cream of celery soup.
1 can cream of mushroom

1 can water chestnuts
- 2 or 3 hard-boiled eggs
1 can Chinese noodles
Mix all ingredients and bake
until thoroughly heated. Top
with the warmed noodles just
before serving. Bake 20 or 25
minutes at 325 degrees.

1(12 oz.) Cool Whip
1 cup chopped nuts
6 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Graham cracker pie crusts
Mix milk, lemon juice,
pineapple and nuts. Fold in
Cool Whip. Pour into pie crusts.
Chill overnight.
