John Van Dyke, of 847 Bethlehem Rd., reported theft of cash and a large assortment of items including eight dozen golf balls, a golf bag, driver, three woods, a putter, nine irons and miscellaneous items to- taling nearly $4,000. A cash register and cash register drawer in The Hole In One Bar & Grill was also damaged $100. ARRESTS Jerry Paul Mixson, 46, 405 Walnut St., DWI, failure to notify Department of Motor Vehicles of address change and having open container in car, $500 bond, unse- cured. Johnathan Lamar Wray, 25, 516 S. Marietta Ave., Gastonia, felony larceny, felony possession, DWI, no operator's license, reckless driving, assault with a deadly weapon, communicating threats and resist, obstruct and delay. = Annette Black Detter, 30, 77 Pine Manor, assault, criminal summons. Lavern Glover, 63, ' 204 Thornburg Dr., assault. James Hollis Hamilton, 30, 1500 Northwoods, assault on a female. Garland Scott Wyatt, 31, 231 Range Rd., possession of stolen property, $500 bond, unsecured. rederick Alphonson Nixon, 27, 1202 Northwoods, shoplifting, $200 bond, secured. James Dewey Crossley Jr., 45, 914 First St., assault on a female. Eddie Eugene Hutto, 37, 808 1/2 Fourth St., assault on a female. Robert Preston Payne, 31, Route 1, Bessemer City, DWI, failing to re- duce speed and resist, obstruct and delay, $800 bond, secured. Dennis Gary Weber Jr., 31, 524 Margrace Rd., driving while license revoked and fictitious plate,$1000 bond, secured. David Eric Darnell, 24, 9 Valley Haven, Shelby Rd., larceny and “possession of stolen property, $300 ond, unsecured. . James Douglas Sipes ]Jr., 32 3001/2 Oriental Ave., drunk and disruptive, $500 bond, unsecured. Jimmy W. Brown, 52, 910 Maner Dr., DWI, hit and run and property damage and left of center and fail- ing to drive vehicle on the right side of the road, $800 bond, unse- cured. Charles Dale Adkins, 44, 700 Bridges Dr., possession of drug paraphernalia. INCIDENTS Francis Putnam, 1033 Oak Grove Rd., reported that his vehicle was dented by someone throwing rocks. Debra Buzgierski, 93 Pine Manor, reported theft of cash from her pocketbook. John Jackson, 145 Dixon School Rd., reported theft of his 1993 Chevrolet valued at $10,000. George Adrian, Liberty, SC, re- ported theft of a radio from his car parked at a local motel. Michael Cobb, 611 W. Gold St., reported theft of a battery charger and motor valued at $700. Winn-Dixie, Spring St., reported an incident of check forgery. Reports of assault were filed by Charlie Moore, 204 Thornburg Dr., Susene Carol Ranson, 84 Pine Manor, Cheryl Mercer, 203 Sheila Britt, 808 Thornburg Dr, 1/2 Fourth St., Tonya Crossley, 914 First St., Patrick Wayne Adams, E. Ridge St., and Darlene Bush, 218 Lackey St. Kings Mountain Housing Authority, 201 McGill St., reported an incident of second degree tres- passing. Charles Hyslop, 260 Brookwood Ave., Apt. A, reported damage to his 1982 Toyota which was parked on S. Cherokee Street. Dollar General Store, 235-237 Cherokee St., reported theft of a pair of pants. Sharon McClain, 75 Pine Manor, reported that windows of her apartment were shot out by some- one using a BB gun. Sara Bradley, 311 Pinehurst, re- ported vandalism to her house by someone throwing eggs Michael Fisher, 107 Fisher Dr., Blacksburg, SC, reported theft of a wallet containing credit cards and currency. Tracy Lohr, 202 Thornburg Dr, reported theft of coins. Johnny Guyton, 1248 Second St., reported theft of a radar detector _ from his car. Towery Whetstine, 626 E. Gold St., reported theft of a television set and camera valued at $530. Alma Kelly Turner, 1230,Second St.-and Shirley Louise Howard, 405 E. Parker St., reported theft of auto- mobile ta Jamie i 108 Cloninger St., re- ported a break-in of his residence. Little Dan's, York Rd., and Phillips 66, 600 E. King St., reported that a customer pumped gas and drove away from the pumps with- out paying for it. * City of Kings Mountain reported theft of a $29 piece of equipment from a police vehicle. WRECKS FEB. 16 Judy Marie. Shinn, 519 Henderson St., Gastonia, backed her 1983 Toyota from the drive- through at Kentucky Fried Chicken and struck a 1994 Chevrolet operat- ed by Melynda Asken Keziah, 700 E. King St. Damages were estimat- ed at $3500. Cars operated by Crystal Stewart, 507 Monroe St., and Rodney Houser, 308 N. Watterson St., hit in the parking lot at Silver Express. Damages were estimated at $1300. Mario Washington, 30, of 317 Washington St., Shelby, was cited for hit and run and no operator's li- cense after a wreck at Texaco 271 parking lot. Washington's 1979 odge struck a parked 1982 Plymouth owned by Bobby Hullender, 309 Parker St. Damages were estimated at $200. FEB. 18 . A parked 1993 Toyota owned by Tony Currence, 319 Waters St.; was. damaged in the parking lot of the Community Center by a hit and run driver. Lisa Messer Berryhill, 151 Springwood Rd., Grover, lost con- trol of her 1985 Toyota on Cleveland Avenue and struck a foes 1983 GMC truck owned by illiard Junior Kimsey, Gastonia and a parked 1976 Chevrolet truck owned by Mark O'Neil, 1985 Eaves Rd. Shelby. Berryhill, who said she became ill at the wheel of her car, was transported to the Kings Mountain Hespital Emergency Room by KM Rescue ambulance. The vehicles were damaged $5300. FEB. 19 A 1990 Ford operated by Timothy Farest Collins, 303 Pinehurst Dr., struck a 1994 GMC truck operated by Tommy Rubie Collins, 805 First St. A parking light on the truck was broken. FEB. 22 Two drivers parked in handi- capped parking spaces backed out ‘and struck each other's vehicle do- ing $325 damage.. The accident happened at Food Lion.
