The City of Kings Mountain will conduct a public
hearing on Tuesday, July 29, 1997, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. at
the Kings Mountain City Hall, 101 West Gold Street,
Kings Mountain, North Carolina, on the question of
annexation of the territories described below, pursuant
to Part 3 Article 4A, Chapter 160A of the General
Statutes of North Carolina, at which time the plans for
extending municipal services to said territories will be
presented and all persons resident or owning property
in said territories and all residents of the City of Kings
Mountain will be given an opportunity to be heard. The
report of plans for extending services to said territories,
a legible map of the area to be annexed and a list of
persons holding freehold interests in the area to be
annexed who have been identified will be available for
public inspection in the office of the City Clerk, 101 West
