Schools As a candidate for the At-Large Seat for Kings Mountain School Board I believe that it is very important to get this message to each.of you. My decision to file as a candidate was not made in haste, nor do I have an ax to grind. It was truly decided through a lot of soul searching and consideration. With my families support I filed for the At-Large Seat. Going into this race was well aware of those who involve themselves in malicious, negative attacks on candidates. However, I can personally handle this part of politics because our children are worth the effort. My heart is in the right place and I am willing to serve and be a voice for all children. Kings Mountain is a great place to live. Fortunately we have many excellent teachers and staff and it would be a pleasure to work closely with each of them. It is my belief that all children can learn and contribute to society. It is our responsibility to provide quality education for each child. There will be and should be times that we agree as well at times we will disagree. I am not perfect and have never claimed to be. However, 1 do truly believe in molding our leaders of tomorrow by educating them today.
