A native of Cabarrus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ada Poole Solesbee and widow: of the late Herman Howard Sanders. She was a retired textile employee, and was a Baptist. She is survived by her son, William L. Sanders of Chester, SC; daughters, Peggy Moss of Kings Mountain and Linda Caton Abercrombie of Spartanburg, SC;. brothers, Arthur Solesbee Jr. of Spartanburg, SC, and James W. Solesbee of Florida; sisters, Margaret Thomas of Converse, SC, and Maybelle Mathis of Grants Pass, OR; seven grand- children, two great-grandchil- dren, and one step-grandchild. The funeral will be conducted by the Revs. Olyn Shytle and David Philbeck at 3 p.m. Thursday at Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Mountain Rest Cemetery. Harris Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. CORRINE PUTNAM KINGS MOUNTAIN - Corrine Dedmon Putnam, 83, 512 Oak Grove Road, died August 17, 1998 at Gaston Memorial Hospital, Gastonia. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Buren V. and Jakie Hoyle Dedmon and wife of the late Arthur Lee Putnam. She was a homemaker and a mem- ber of Patterson Grove Baptist Church, and for 40 years along with her husband ran A.L. Putnam's General Store. She is survived by her son, Jessie Putnam and wife, Janice of Bessemer City; daughter, Brenda Bridges and husband, Eddie, of Mooresboro; grand- children, Andy Putnam and wife, Jane, Robby Putnam and wife, Melissa, Matt Bridges, Jessica Bridges, and Ginger Bridges; and great-grandchil- dren, Harrison Putnam, Nicholas Putnam and Rachel Putnam. The funeral was conducted by the Revs. Terry Bird and Richard Plyler at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Patterson Grove Baptist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. He served in the United ‘States Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Betty Peck Webster of Gastonia; brothers, Daniel Webster of Charlotte and James Webster of Kings Mountain; sisters, Louise W.
