A new Kings Mountain shop-
ping spot with plenty of sparkle
and shine held its grand open-
ing on St. Patrick's Day. The cre-
ation of DeAnn Burton,
Baubles, Bangles, and Beads in
McGinnis Department Store
will offer reasonably priced and
attractive costume jewelry for
ladies of discriminating taste.
"I'm offering a full line of af-
fordable costume jewelry," said
Burton. "I've always enjoyed
jewelry and this is my chance to
* pass on that fun to customers."
. Items Burton had spread out
in the display case ranged from
the whimsical to the classical.
Necklaces, rings, chokers,
bracelets, and ear rings done up
in colors of gold, silver and
gems were just a few of the
pieces displayed.
"My pieces range in price
from about four dollars up to
around sixteen dollars," Burton
said. "My counter will be the
only place in town offering such
a variety of costume jewelry at
such good prices."
Confessing to having "an
itch” for jewelry, Burton is using
her experience as a buyer and
