Parker St. Bouttavong Boungnasana, Shelby, reported that the window of his car was pelleted by BB guns on Waco Road. David Grier Moore, 300 Fairview St., reported that he was assaulted by a suspect posing a gun. He al- so reported theft of a handgun. MAY 31 Rosa Wood, Guiton Loop, was treated at Cleveland Regional Medical Center after her 1990 Ford was Suh a 1993 Ford operated by Bridget Minor, of Bessemer City. Damages were esti- mated at $125. Investigation is continuing into an incident at the parking lot of Pine Manor Apasipens involving a 1978 Chevrolet operated by Lisa Morrow Mitchem, 300 E. Gold St., Apt. 3. Cpl. R. S. Costner said none of the three pedestrians reportedly reaching into her car or allegedly trying to get out of the way re- quested any assistance when EMS was called to the scene. The accident happened on Highway 216 and damages were estimated at $800. JUNE 9 A 1993 Chevrolet operated by Earl Worchester, 319 Chestnut St., struck a 1993 Ford SW operated by Connie Allison, 121 Lake Montonia Rd. The accident happened on Battleground Avenue at Falls Street. Allison was reportedly injured. Damages were estimated at $1150. JUNE 12 A 1995 Honda operated by Leander Parker, 128 Banks Rd., struck a 1992 Hyundai operated by Loretta Jackson, Dallas, at Fulton Drive and Margrace Road. Damages were estimated at $1300. A dog ran out in front of Cynthia Wright Wood, 119 Trotter Lane, and Wood's 1998 Oldsmobile was dam- aged $200. The accident happened on Woodlake Parkway. JUNE 13 A car Spey by Thomas Dover Jr, 220 Waco Rd., struck a utility pole on West Gold Street.doing 00 damage. Darrell Jay Cormann, 504 N. Cansler St., was backing his 1997 Ford truck from his driveway and struck a 1979 Ford operated by Roger Moore, Blacksburg, SC. Damages were estimated at $1500. Cormann was cited by Ptl. S. N. Wray with safe movement viola- tion. County residents face drug charges The Cleveland County ~ Sheriff’s Office Narcotics / Vice and COP division made numer- ous arrests on state drug charges on June 11. According to Billy Benton of the Sheriff's Office, the charges were the result of an undercov- er operation conducted by Investigator Rocky Smith of the Narcotics Division. Arrested were John Vergil Ramey, 47, 717 Pleasant Dr., Shelby, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, sale and delivery-of marijuana, possession with intent to sell and deliver oxycodone, and sale and delivery of oxycodone; Shannon Rae Hutchins, 31, 159 Cindy Lane, Kings Mountain, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana; Carl Lewis Hutchins, 38, 159 Cindy Lane, Kings Mountain, posses- sion with intent to sell and de- liver marijuana; Gerald Fred Wyatt, 56, 1107 S. Washington St., Shelby, three counts posses- sion with intent to sell and de- liver crack cocaine, three counts of sale and delivery of crack co- caine; Wanda Kay Greene, 24, 1144 Poplar Springs Church Rd., Shelby, trafficking in methamphetamine; Deborah Ann Flack, 35, 797 Westview St., Shelby, possession with intent to sell and deliver crack co- caine, sale and delivery of crack cocaine; and Jason William Masters, 24, 110 Cambridge Circle, Gaffney, SC, possession with intent to sell and deliver crack cocaine, sale and delivery of crack cocaine. County residents face drug charges Cleveland County Sheriff's Office along with the FBI, SBI, IRS and Gaston County police arrested six Cleveland County residents June 11 on federal in- dictments. Arrested and charged with one count each of conspiracy to traffic in methamphetamine were Michael Barry Ingle, 29, 1209 Ridgemont Ave., Shelby; Eugene Turner, 52, 184 Clelo Rd., Casar; Joe Dean Crotts, 32, 340 E.
