she was the daughter of the late
Robert E. Lee Baldwin and
Evelyn Moffitt Baldwin. She
was also preceded in death by
her husbands, Paul Kirby and
Charles Frank Stowe, and her
daughter, Rebecca “Becky”
Huffstetler.
She was a retired salesperson
for Plonk Department Store,
and was a member of Kings
Mountain Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son,
Richard Stowe and wife,
Connie, of Kings Mountain;
daughter, Betty Sue Morris and
husband, Bob, of Kings
Mountain; Linda Tomlinson
and husband, Bobby, of Butner;
and Laura Wright and husband,
Gray, of Burlington; sister, Fern
Brown of Robbins; grandchil-
dren, Dawn Morris Day, Keith
Morris, Paula Morris Brown,
Monte Huffstetler, Stephanie
Huffstetler, Travis Tomlinson,
Matthew Wright, Adam Wright,
Clark Stowe Jr., and Carrie
Stowe; and five great-grandchil-
dren.
A graveside service was con-
ducted by the Rev. Olin Byrum
at 11 a.m. Friday at Mountain
Rest Cemetery.

GAFFNEY, SC - James David
“1.D.” Teague, 66, 234 Ross St.,
died January 23, 2000 at his resi-
dence.
A native of Cherokee County,
he was the son of the late Forest
Kinsey Teague and Essie
Broome Teague, and husband of
Nancy Simmons Teague.
He was a member of Gospel
Light Christian Fellowship
Church of Gaffney, and was a
cab driver for over 30 years in
Cherokee County. He was for-
mer owner of the Red Top and
Gaffney Cab Companies.
In addition to his wife, he is
..,,survived by a son, Frankie;
Martin Jr. of Gaffney; stepson,
Mickey Ray Simmons of Shelby;
daughters, Martha Gayle Ogle
and Amy Stanford, both of
Gaffney; brother, Forest Kinsey
Teague Jr. of Gaffney; 10 grand-
children and one great-grand-
child.
A graveside service was con-
ducted by the Revs. Henry
. Guyton and Steve Campbell at
1 p.m. Tuesday at Frederick
Memorial Gardens.

Virginia, she was the daughter
of the late Charles E. and
Elizabeth Anne Stewart. She
was a graduate of the National
Business College in Roanoke,
VA and worked in the automo-
- tive profession for 15 years be-
fore entering the real estate
_ business in 1995. She was a
member of the Top Producers
Club as a Brokers Associate
with The Rigby Company of
Greenville.
She was a member of
Disciples United Methodist
Church in Greenville and was
an active member and 1999
Chairman of the Greenville
County Real Estate Community
Service Committee. She also
served on the Social and
. Grievance Committee. She was
a member of the Greenville
“Association of Realtors.
She is survived by her hus-
band, Ken Baity of the home;
. daughter and son-in-law, Katie
and Brad Moon of Fountain
Inn, SC; son, Charlie Baity of
Greenville; stepchildren, Jim
Baity of Inman, SC, and Lisa
Ramey and Pam Jackson, both
of Kings Mountain; sisters,
Eddie Stewart and Mary Beth
‘Stewart, both of Fredericksburg,
VA; brother, Marty Stewart of
Greenville; and nine grandchil-
dren.

Salem, N.C.
A native of Dekalb County,
Indiana, he was the son of the
late Warren Hicks and Beth
Hicks and stepfather William
Shuman. He was a member of
First Pentecostal Church, May
Avenue, Gastonia. He partici-
pated in many events in the
Special Olympics: He was also
an avid bowler and swimmer.
In addition to his mother and
step-father, he is survived by
sister and brother in law
Amanda and Scott Harlow of
Giessen, Germany; sister Shelby
Hicks of the home; nephew
Austin Harlow of Giessen,
Germany; maternal grandmoth-
er Barbara Hayes of Bessemer
City; also a number of aunts

Gilmore and W.J.Padgett. Burial
was in Westview Gardens.

Virginia James Sisk. She was the
operator of Polly’s Florist and
was a member of Bostic
Missionary Methodist Church.
She is survived by her hus-
band, Bobby Crowe; one son,

one daughter, Tina Sizemore of
Forest City; one sister, Peggy
Walker of Forest City; one
brother, James Bowles of Kings
Mountain; four grandchildren
and one great-grandchild.
The funeral will be conducted

p.m. Thursday at Bostic
Missionary Methodist Church.

He is also survived by five

and Summer Nicole Hutchins

Stormie Danielle Hutchins, all
of Blacksburg, SC; one brother,
George Randall Hutchins of

County , he was the son of

and the late J.C. Hoyle. He was
a supervisor at Hayward Pool
Products and a member of
Lawndale Missionary
_ Methodist Church. He was also
past president of the Serenity
. Club and a member of their
Board of Directors. He was sec-
retary of the Hall Goforth Kings
Mountain Group and Masonic
Lodge #202. He was a U.S.
Navy veteran and had served
on the USS Thuban during the
Cuban Crisis.
He is survived by his wife
Linda Malark Hoyle of Kings
Mountain; son and daughter in
"law Stahr and Jackie Hoyle of
Nashville, Tennessee; stepson
Chad Robinson of Lattimore;
stepson and his wife Chris and
Pam Robinson of Boiling
