Victoria Lynn Greene, daugh-
ter of Dale and Connie Greene
of Kings Mountain, was eight
years old June 5.
She celebrated June 3 with a
pool party at the KMHS pool.
Guests enjoyed a Barbie
Princess cake, sandwiches,
chips and ice cream. Treat bags
were given to guests as they
left. Her parents and brother,
Chris Greene, hosted the party.
Special guests.were Victoria's
classmates from North
Elementary School and sports
teammates from the YMCA.
Other children attending
were Austin and Ryan Bridges,
Mac and Matt Shepard, and
Victoria's cousin, Megan Moore,
of Columbia, SC.
Grandparents are Herman
and Mary Greene and Billie and

Frank Love Orchestra
to perform June 18

Love Orchestra June 18 in a
Father’s Day Concert. The

KM rabies case
County’s 38th
A dead raccoon found at 113
Chestnut Ridge Road, Kings
Mountain, on May 27 has tested
positive for rabies.
According to County Health
Director Denese R. Stallings,
two dogs were observed
around the raccoon and were
possibly exposed. One dog had
a current vaccination and was
returned to its owner. Animal
Control picked up the other dog
with an expired rabies vaccina-
tion.
The State Laboratory in
Raleigh confirmed the raccoon
had rabies. This marks
Cleveland County’s38th case. of
i rabies’ since une 1998.
