"Page 2A OBITUARIES HARRIETTE MAUNEY WILMINGTON - Harriette Rhinehardt Mauney, 84, 615 Sandfiddler Pointe, died Thursday, June 22, 2000 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice. Care Center. ; A na- the daughter of the late John L. and Nellie Belle Wilburn Rhinehardt, and was the widow of Joseph S. MAUNEY Mauney. While living in Spindale, she was active in the Methodist Church. Later, she was instru- mental in organizing the Advent Lutheran Church, a mission church, serving on the Church Council, teaching Sunday School, ana singing in the church choir. She was also a member of Spindale Woman's Club, where she was Woman of the Year in 1953, and she was pianist for the Eastern Star. In 1959, she became a librari- an with the Public Library of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County, until her retirement. Upon moving to Raeford, she was active in the United Methodist Church and wom- an’s club. In 1994, she moved to Wilmington and became a member of St. Paul's i Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Church Women. She is survived by her daugh- ters, Jo An Moses and husband, Bill, of Seven Lakes and Nell Ostby and husband, Lon, of Wilmington; brothers, J.B. Rhinehardt of Winnsboro, SC, W.A. Rhinehardt of Durham, and John L. Rhinehardt of Charlotte; sisters-in-laws, and numerous nieces and nephews; and grandchildren, Sara “Cissy” Wood, John O. Moses, Robert W. Moses, James M.
