Reunion activities begin Friday at 4 p.m. in the church fellowship hall with an infor- mal get-together. “Along with the Cloningers, Hovises, Carpenters, Hoyles, eceive an extra 500 on auery new vehicle if you are a member of AARP! Anthony reunion set for August 13 The Annual Anthony Family Ext. Cab dxd’s Reunion will be held Sunday, August 13 at the Family Life Center of the Flint Hill Baptist Church near Boiling Springs. Lunch will be at 1 p.m. This is a change from the third Sunday in September to the second Sunday in August for the Annual Reunion. According to Freeman, Harris had nine children, 11 grandchil- dren, and 16 great grandchildren. Her husband was Will Jackson from Columbus, Georgia. Other achievements include construct- ing a house on one acre of land she purchased from her father in 1948 and paying off the debt in 20 years. She was also active in the Galilee Church Community. Harris was 100- years-old February 28 of this year and currently resides in Laurelton, New York. ROSS SUTHERLAND Steven Ross Sutherland born May 18, 2000 Steven Wayne and Lori Ross Sutherland of Kings Mountain announce the birth of a son, Steven Ross Sutherland, May 18, 2000 at 9:08 a.m. at Gaston Memorial Hospital. Ross weighed eight pounds, 12 ounces and was 21 inches long. He has a sister, Amanda Jo, 12, and a sister, Brooke Michelle, 5. Grandparents are William “Bill” Sutherland of Iowa, Lillian Smith Bryant of Shelby, and Maynard and Jo Ross of Kings Mountain. Great-grandparents are Nell Turner, the late James Turner, J.L. Ross, and Lonnie Ross, all of Kings Mountain. Alzheimer’s Support Group sets meeting The Alzheimer’s Support Group will meet Monday, August 14 at 7 p.m. at the Kings Mountain Senior Center on North Piedmont Avenue. Anzie Horn, RN with Care Solutions, will discuss linking adults with services and solu- tions. Family, friends and care- givers of Alzheimer’s patients are encouraged to attend. Missing Azheimer’s patient found alive Charles Manning, a 70-year- old Shelby Alzheimer’s victim, was found by one of his neigh- bors Sunday after being report- ed missing a week earlier. Manning was found by a neighbor in thick brush behind an abandoned house just off South Lafayette Street. He was transported to Cleveland Regional Medical Center, where he was listed in stable but guarded condition. Law enforcement and rescue officials had called off their week-long search on Saturday.
