Page 2A OBITUARIES REMA SISK SHELBY- Rema M. Sisk, 72, 202 South Fork Drive, died January 4, 2001 at Hospice of Cleveland County. A native of Bryson City, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Sewell B. Monteith and Julia B. Monteith. She was also preced- ed in death by her husband Wood H. Sisk and sister Gay M. McCarn. She was a homemaker and member of Shelby Freewill Baptist Church. She is survived by her son and daughter in law Bryon W. Sisk and Shanon of Kings Mountain; sisters Ruth M. Musgrave, Ovilla M. Payne, and Greta M. Wilson all of Lexington, N.C., Thama M. Hudson of Winston-Salem; granddaughter Grace E. Sisk of Kings Mountain; grandson Jacob P. Sisk of Kings Mountain. The funeral was conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at Cleveland Funeral Services by Dr. Ed Hutchinson. Burial was in Cleveland Memorial Park. Borov, 81, 117-1 Stoney Ridge Drive, died January 1, 2001 at Kings Mountain Hospital. A native of Fisherdorf, Ukraine, she was the daughter of the late Konrad Mohr and Anna Muntanion Mohr. She was the wife of the late Richard Borov. She was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Kings Mountain, and was re- tired from the textile industry. She is survived by sons Rick borov and wife Renee of Kings Mountain, Hans S. Borov of Marlton, New Jersey; brothers Eugene Mohr of Greenwood, South Carolina, Konrad Mohr of Greenwood; John Mohr of Trenton, Ontario,Canada; sister Anna Schmidtke of Kelowna, British Columbia; grandchild Sara Borov.
