A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late. John Latham Foster and Ida Jane Sanders Foster. She was the wife of the late John Edwards. She was also preced- ed in death by brothers, Dan Foster and Howard Foster; and sisters, Ellen Foster and Pearl Scism. She was a member of Patterson Grove Baptist Church. She was retired from the textile industry. According to the Cleveland County Health Department, the skunk entered a lot with the . homeowner's dog. The dog's vaccination had expired. This marks the 47th case of rabies in Cleveland County since June 1998, and is the first case this year. : During the next six months, residents living in the vicinity of Dixon School Road should observe their animals for un- usual behavior. In addition, they need to make sure all cats nin Al and dogs have a current rabies vaccination.
