Grove Church Road, died
February 15, 2001 at Carolinas
Medical Center, Charlotte.
A native of Lincoln County,
she was the daughter of the late.
John Latham Foster and Ida
Jane Sanders Foster. She was
the wife of the late John
Edwards. She was also preced-
ed in death by brothers, Dan
Foster and Howard Foster; and
sisters, Ellen Foster and Pearl
Scism.
She was a member of
Patterson Grove Baptist
Church. She was retired from
the textile industry.
She is survived by her sons,
Jimmy Foster and wife, Patsy, of
Kings Mountain and Michael
Foster and wife, Mary, of
Gastonia; nine grandchildren,
eight great-grandchildren, and
two great-great grandchildren.

by the Rev. John Heath at 4 p.m.
Sunday at Ollie Harris
Memorial Chapel. Burial was in
Hullender Cemetery.

Sellers, 68,218 Broad Street, for-
merly of Bessemer City, died,
February 17,2001 at Kings
Mountain Hospital.
A native of Clinton, she was
the daughter of the late William
Thomas and Maggie
Blackwelder Robinson, and
wife of the late Clyde Wesley
Sellers. She was formerly em-
ployed by McBess Industries
and later retired from Danalex
in Bessemer City. She attended
‘Way of the Cross Baptist
Church.
She was preceded in death by
four brothers, Wesley, Walter,
J.C. and Everette Robinson; and
two sisters, Naomi Melling and
Evelyn Robinson.
She is survived by her son
and daughter-in-law, Wayne
and Melanie Massagee of
Bessemer City; daughter and
son-in-law, Wanda and Everette
Bowen of Shelby; stepson, Dr.

A native of Spartanburg
County, SC, she was the daugh-
ter of the late Melton and Dora
Westbrook Shields and wife of
the late Joe Marshall Greene.
She was employed as a
homemaker and seamstress.

A rabid skunk was killed last
week by a homeowner at 935
Dixon School Road, Kings
Mountain.
According to the Cleveland
County Health Department, the
skunk entered a lot with the .
homeowner's dog. The dog's
vaccination had expired.
This marks the 47th case of
rabies in Cleveland County
since June 1998, and is the first
case this year. :
During the next six months,
residents living in the vicinity
of Dixon School Road should
observe their animals for un-
usual behavior. In addition,
they need to make sure all cats nin Al
and dogs have a current rabies
vaccination.
