Mills; six sisters, two brothers,
and a great-grandson, Brian
King.
She was the oldest member of
Bethel United Methodist
Church.
She is survived by her sons
and their wives, Charles and
Anna Mills of Taylorsville,
Bobby and Jo Ann Mills and
Buddy and Judy Mills, all of
Morganton; daughter and her
husband, Frances and Willis
King of Kings Mountain; grand-
daughter, Joan Baker and hus-
band, Steve, of Kings Mountain;
grandson, Billy King and wife,
Linda, of Wilmington, formerly
of Kings Mountain; great-
grandson, Brian King of
Wilmington; sister, Annie
Walker of Hendersonville; and
numerous nephews and nieces.

11 a.m. Wednesday at Bethel
United Methodist Church.

Wal-Mart center.
“The EDC wholeheartedly
supports this project,” Nye said.
“It will offer substantial job op-
. ‘portunities and services. It will
be a great boost to the county.”
For its part, the county will
purchase 58 acres adjacent to
the 300 acres that Wal-Mart will
purchase. These 58 acres will be
turned over to Wal-Mart. The
company’s outlay for land,
buildings, and equipment will
be in the neighborhood of $50
million.
Other incentive grants from
the county and city of Shelby
will include a payment of
$175,000 each for a period of -
five years. Relocation of gas,
water, and sewer lines was also
part of the deal.
