Barnes Auditorium. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for students and $3 for senior citizens. The entertainment is a set of one-act plays, skits, songs and dances performed by seniors with help from drama and cho- rus students. The theatrical traditions of having a senior play at KMHS dates back to the 1920s. KMHS is the only high school in the area that still has a senior play “We may be the only school in the world that still produces a senior play,” said Director Betsy Wells. “I know it’s not done at any other high school in Cleveland County. But I have been directing this event since becoming the drama teacher in 1979-80. I personally believe it’s a great tradition to continue. There's nothing more unifying for seniors. We always have a good number of the class in-. ,, volved in one way or another.” Choreographer is Jane Campbell Kiser. Technical Director is David Wells, Assistant Technical Director is Melissa Wells. : The performance is dedicated to KMHS senior Sharon Elizabeth Ellis, who was recent- ly killed in an automobile acci- dent.
