Rev. Carl Dumford officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony. Music was provided by cellist Alan Black and classical guitarist Bob Teixeira. The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father. Bridesmaids were Angelique Cordahi of Greenville and Alexandra Cordahi of Charlotte, sisters of the bridegroom, Emily Hanna of Tallahassee, FL, and junior brides- maid Kaki Bowman of Polkville, cousin of the bride. Mauney Jr. of Cherryville will be- gin serving as Interim Pastor on Sunday, August Dr. Mauney is a graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne College and Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary. He was ordained in 1943 by the North Carolina Synod, EL- CA. Aftet two years as pastor of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Hickory, he was called to St. James Lutheran Church in Fayetteville in 1945 where, for 32 years, he served military personnel at Fort Bragg. He was awarded an honorary Degree of Doctor of Divinity by Lenoir-Rhyne College in 1972.
