JIM YARBRO
He was a poultry farmer and
a member of the Cleveland
~ County Poultry Council. He
was inducted into the
Cleveland County Poultry
Council Hall of Fame in 1999.
He was a longtime member
of the Bethware Progressive
Club, and retired charter mem-
ber of the Bethlehem Volunteer
Fire Department. He was a
member of Bethlehem Baptist
Church where he served as dea-
con, former treasurer, teacher
and on numerous committees.
He served in the United States
Navy during World War II.
He is survived by his wife,
Flora Lee Blackburn Yarbro of
Kings Mountain; son, Dr.
Stanley Yarbro and wife Dr. Lee
Yarbro of San Jose, CA and
Leslie Yarbro and wife Lisa of
Grover; daughter, Cheryl Beatty
of Kings Mountain; brother,

Kings Mountain; and three
