17,000 square foot facility.
® The annual Senior Center Christmas party
will be held at the new H. Lawrence Patrick
Senior Life and Conference Center on Thursday,
December 20 from 2-4 p.m. All seniors in the
Kings Mountain area, age 60 and older, are invit-
ed to attend. |

The hand bell choir, choral and drama groups
from Central United Methodist Church will pro-

Hike, Crowders Mountain State Park. Hike the re-
cently acquired Kings Mountain Ridgeline prop-
erty, from Juniper Ridge to Boulders Area, a dis-
tance of four miles. A shuttle will be completed.
Hike is limited to 10 people. Call 853-5375 to re-
serve a place. If weather is poor, the hike will be
cancelled. Hike will not be on a trail so you must
wear hiking shoes or boots. Hike will be strenu-
ous through briars, steep, and rock slopes; not ap-
propriate for young children. No pets allowed.

Springs and Linwood College, Crowders
Mountain State Park. Learn about the history of
the unusual school and health resort which had
mineral springs promoted to cure all ills. The hike

boots or shoes that might get muddy. Hike will be

The bride is the daughter of Gary and Renee
Bingham of Kings Mountain. She is a 1998 gradu-
ate of Burns High School and attends
Appalachian State University.
The groom is the son of Dwayne and Evelyn
Rice of Grove City, OH. He is a graduate of Grove
City High School.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Lisa Bingham was maid of honor. Laurel Newton
of Elkton, TN and Kelly Gaffney of Lexington, KY
were bridesmaids.
Josh Grigg was ring bearer. Lauren Hudachko
was flower girl.
Dwayne Rice Sr. of Grove City, OH was best
man. Ushers were Tim Sidebottom of Lebanon,

Gary and Renee Bingham hosted the reception

The couple’s wedding trip was to the Sannibel
