He was a member of First
Presbyterian Church, where he
served as Elder and former
choir member. He was a former

* employee of Martin-Marietta.
He retired from Genuine Auto
Parts, Charlotte, after 25 years
of service. He served in the U.S.
Army.
He is survived by his wife,
Barbara Blanton Dellinger of
Kings Mountain; sons, Bryan
Dellinger and wife Liza, and Dr.
David Dellinger, all of Kings
Mountain; brother, Wayne
Dellinger and wife Faye of
Kings Mountain; sisters, Brenda
Blanton and husband Jim, and
Judy Scism and husband Paul,
all of Kings Mountain; and two
grandchildren, Mary Catherine
Dellinger and Virginia
Dellinger.
A memorial service will be
conducted by Dr. Donald
Mitchell at 11 a.m. Friday at
First Presbyterian Church. The
family will receive friends im-
mediately after the service in
the church fellowship hall.
Burial will be in Mountain
Rest Cemetery.

she is survived by her maternal

the AARP.
She was preceded in death by
her son, Robert E. Burris.
She is survived by her daugh-
