A native of Kings x Mountain, he was the son of the late W.V. “Dub” and Helen McSwain Dellinger. He was also pre- ceded in death by his brother, Larry Dellinger. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, where he served as Elder and former choir member. He was a former DELLINGER * employee of Martin-Marietta. He retired from Genuine Auto Parts, Charlotte, after 25 years of service. He served in the U.S. Army.
