December 6, 2001 BIRTHDAY WINSTON WISE Winston Wise notes his first birthday | Winston Russ Wise, son of Rusty and Anne Wolfe Wise of Cherryville, was one-year-old November 7. He celebrated November 10 with a Dalmatian theme party at his home. Attending the party were family members and $pecial friends Jamie, Denise and Jimmy Johnson. Grandparents are Grace and Houston Wolfe of Kings Mountain and Connie and Hillard Wise of Cherryville. Great grandparents are Mary Turner and Ruth Wise of Cherryville. . MADISON GERDON oIAOHT Madison Gordon. born October 23 Madison Grace Gerdon was born October 23, 2001 at Arnot Ogden Hospital in Elmira, NY. She weighed seven pounds, nine ounces and was 18 1/4 inches long. Parents are Pamela Hayes Brooks and Ryan Gerdon of Elmira, NY. Maternal grandparents are Russell and Susan Gerdon of Belford, NJ. Paternal grandpar- ents are Diane Hayes of Kings Mountain and the late Roger Dale Hayes I. Great-grandpar- ents are Sara Blanton of Kings Mountain and Junior and Ruth Conner of Bessemer City. Madison has an older brother, Darius Gerdon, age 2. First Wesleyan B The choir of First Wesleyan Church, 505 N. Warlick Performing Arts Center on the campus of Gaston Day School. . Carleeta, a junior at Kings Mountain High School, was escorted by Jason Feemster. Carleeta is the daughter of Anita Jimmerson and Robert Jimmerson. Twenty-one young women competed in the event. Queen of the Ball was Jessica Elease Floyd of Dallas. Zeta Mu Omega supports a number of local and national activities. Jimmerson is active ina number of activities in the community and at KMHS, including Project Teach, Band and Pep Club.
