Page 2B WEDDING MRS. ROGER LEE GLENN (Sabrina Rae Putnam) Glenn-Putnam Sabrina Rae Putnam and Roger Lee Glenn exchanged marriage vows March 9 at Patterson Grove Baptist Church in Kings Mountain. Rev. Douglas Ramsey, pastor of Bethany Baptist Church, Grover, officiated. Faye _|Dellinger, organist; Jerri Tate, pianist; and Jada and Cale McDaniel, vocalists; presented a pro- gram of wedding music. The bride is the daughter of David and “Deborah Putnam of Kings Mountain, and Jo Tesseneer of Kings Mountain. She is the grand- daughter of Hoyle and Lydia Putnam and Ruby Turner, all of Kings Mountain. She is a 1996 grad- uate of Kings Mountain High School and a 2001 graduate of Gaston College where she received a Veterinary Technician Degree. She is employed by Dickson Animal Hospital in Gastonia. The groom is the son of Gail and Russell Honeycutt of Shelby and Michael and Barbara Glenn of Kings Mountain. He is the grandson of Betty and Wilburn Smith of Lowell, Marlene Early of Kings Mountain, and Richard Glenn of Gastonia. She wore a formal gown of. ivory silk and satin featuring a basque waist enhanced by guipure lace and the open neckline and short sleeves were overlaid in more guipure lace. The gown featured a full skirt with unique panels of rum blush satin and a center insert of ivory silk organza. It was further accentuated by an unusual double bow in two tones of silk and satin. The full skirt extended into a cathedral train with a guipure lace edging. She carried a formal bouquet of ivory roses, featuring red rosebuds in honor of the groom and three Stargazer lilies in memory of deceased grandparents. Brittni Johnson of Kings Mountain was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kimberly McDaniel of Kings Mountain, Teraza Walston of Raleigh, Alicia Turner of Boiling Springs, and Janna Gibson of Columbia, SC. They wore formal, full- length gowns in pastel pink with a beaded bodice and carried bouquets of mixed spring flowers. Flower girl was Spencer Burton. Logan Church was ring bearer. Michael Glenn of Kings Mountain was best man. Ushers were Edward Ledford of Shelby, Scott Church of Lawndale, Earl Hill of Gastonia, —JBrian Putnam and Butch Putnam of Kings Mountain, and Russell Honeycutt of Shelby. David and Deborah Putnam hosted the recep- tion in the church fellowship hall. Gail and Russell Honeycutt hosted the rehearsal dinner at the Scism Party Barn. Following a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, TN, the couple will make their home in Lattimore. The Kings Mountain Herald SRR. ISHA VOLLBRACHT SIMMONS DANIEL TOWNSEND HARDIN Simmons-Hardin Jerry and Reta Simmons of Kings Mountain announce the engagement of their daughter, Isha Vollbracht Simmons, to Daniel Townsend Hardin. A March 23 wedding is planned at David Baptist Church, Kings Mountain. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Euzelia Vollbracht and the late Dale Vollbracht of Kings Mountain, and the late Robert and Juanita Simmons of Elon College. She is a senior at Kings Mountain High School. The future bridegroom is the son of the Rev. Tim and Jackie Hardin of Grover. He is the grandson of Betty Reader and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Altizer of Fayetteville. He is a 2001 graduate of Kings Mountain High School and is currently a student at Cleveland Community College.
