EDC Director Steve Nye attended National Manufacturing Week, March 18- 21 in Chicago, which is one of the largest and most compre- hensive annual manufacturing trade show in North America. Since Cleveland County is a member of the National Association of Manufacturers Site Selection Network, it was able to staff the SSN booth at the show. With more than 45,000 atten- dees, National manufacturing Week gave the Cleveland County EDC the chance to talk with different manufacturers who may be interested in com- ing to the area. Nye said the time at the show was beneficial. “The time spent talking to prospective companies was extremely valuable in marketing Cleveland County,” Nye said. Part of Nye’s cost was shared by two Kings Mountain resi- dents. “This would not even be pos- sible without the generous financial support of Steve Proffitt and John Harris of Kings Mountain,” Nye said. rm WIODBRIDGE Golf Club 18 Holes Senior Rates wii $28.00 $22.00 You A Very Happy Easter!
