Gerald Dean Messer Sr. and the

He is survived by his daugh-
ter, Jennifer Messer of the home;
two sisters, Windy M. Anderson
and Lisa M. Flowers of Kings
Mountain; two nieces and a
nephew.

Russ Dellinger. She was also
preceded in death by he brother,
J.C. Dellinger.
She was a retired textile
worker and a member of Buffalo
‘Baptist Church, Shelby.
She is survived by her daugh-

and sisters-in-law, Robert and

at 3 p.m. Sunday at Mountain
Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain.

A native of Cleveland County,
she was the daughter of the late
Forrest and Aquilla Hamm
- Huffstetler and widow of the
late Benjamin T. Bumgardner.
She was also preceded in death
by her daughter, Judy. Margaret
Bumgardner; brother, Andy
Huffstetler; and sisters, Pearl
Yates and Pinola Henson.
She was a retired textile work-
er, grocer and homemaker. She
was a member of Penley’s
Chapel Church.
She is survived by her sons,

A native of Kings Mountain,
she was the daughter of the late
William David and Julia
Bumgardner McDaniel. She was
also preceded in death by her

Sam McDaniel:

for 42 years and retired from the
Charlotte Mecklenburg School
System. She was a member of

She is survived by her sister

Saturday clean up
day in Kings Mtn.
The city of Kings Mountain
will hold its annual spring
cleanup Saturday from 8 a.m. to
5 p.m. at the National Guard
Armory, 300 Phifer Road and
the Kings Mountain Fire
Museum, 200 Cleveland
Avenue.
City staff and trash cans will
be at both sites and garbage not
taken normally will be accepted
that day.
During the cleanup the city
will accept ceramic tiles, bricks,
roofing materials, fence wire,
bagged grass clippings, floor
materials and car parts.
Materials not accepted are
tree trunks, boards with nails,
sand or dirt, hazardous material
or combustible waste and tires.
Paint cans will be accepted
only if filled with dirt or sand.
