to rob KM store
A 20-year-old man was
arrested after an attempted
armed robbery Friday at the
Handy Pantry in Kings
Mountain.
According to Sgt. Lisa
Proctor of Kings Mountain
Police Department, the sus-
pect fled the scene. Shortly
thereafter, Aaron Benjamin
Spencer was arrested and
charged with attempted
armed robbery, communi-
cating threats and resisting
arrest.
He was jailed in
Cleveland County Detention
Center under a $20,000
secured bond.
