According to Kings Mountain Police Det. Lisa Proctor, Barry Eugene Jackson, 47, of 102 South Carpenter Street Apt. C, was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliv- er crack cocaine, maintain- ing a dwelling for the sell of cocaine, possession of mari- juana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in jail under a $10,000 secured bond. According to Proctor, the charges were the result of an undercover investigation that had been going on since July. She said there may be charges against other sus- pects Sepending upon lab results. Proctor seid officers secured search warrants to enter the residence. She claims Jackson had on his possession 53 rocks of cocaine with a street value of approximately $1,000. Proctor said Jackson bs had previous convictions and has served prison sen- tences for breaking and entering and drug and weapons charges.
