He was owner and opera- tor of Charles Mullinax Logging Company. He was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, where he was a former choir member and church council member. He served as past president of the Kings Mountain Lions Club and Kings Mountain Country Club. He was active in the community and in 1973 led a successful campaign for a new addition to Kings Mountain Hospital. He spent most of his life with Sadie Mills Inc., where he served as secretary and past president.
