Mullinax. He was also pre-

Eddie Lee Mullinax; and
brother, Carlton Mullinax.
He was owner and opera-
tor of Charles Mullinax
Logging Company.
He is survived by his
father, Floyd Mullinax of
Blacksburg; daughter and
son-in-law, Lori Ann
Mullinax Hoyle and Jeff of
Casar; sisters, Margie
Hamrick, Faye Pruitt and
Mabel Pruitt of Shelby,
Shirley Emory of Grover,
and Geraldine Dover of
‘Blacksburg; brother, Bobby
Mullinax of Blacksburg; and
granddaughters, Danielle
Mullinax of Shelby and
Nicole Hoyle and Jodi Hoyle
of Casar.

COUNCIL, NC - Robert
Preston Neisler Sr., 66, died
October 9, 2002 at his home.
He was part owner of
Chesterfield yarn Mills in
Pageland, SC, and served as
its president from 1959 to
2000. He was also part
owner of Oakland
Plantation Turf Farm in
Council.
He is survived by his wife,
Mary Ham Neisler of
Wilmington; sons, Preston
Neisler and Matthew Neisler
of Pageland, SC, and Chris
Neisler of Mayer, AZ; sister,
Betty Timberlake of Lake
Waccamaw; brothers, Joe
Neisler of Lake Waccamaw
and Hugh Neisler of
Pageland, SC; and five
grandchildren.
A private graveside serv-
ice was held October 11 at
Mt. Horeb Cemetery in
Council.

Carver Wilson. He was also

daughter, Cathy Dale
Wilson, and brothers Carl
Wilson, Luther Wilson and
Clyde Wilson.
He was retired from the
textile industry.
He is survived by his wife,
Edith Hart Wilson of Grover;
daughters, Ruth Wilson
Haskins and husband Andy
and Darlene Wilson Clark
and husband Steve, all of
Grover; sister, Zetta Wilson
Burrell of Weaverville; seven
grandchildren and seven
great-grandchildren.

county, he was the son of the
late Horace Mayo and Sarah
Evangeline Falls Houser. He

Andrew Hudson; brothers
William “Bill” Houser and
Douglas Houser, and sisters
Frances Houser Lutz and
Linda Houser Blanton.
He was a member of St.
Matthew's Lutheran Church,
where he was a former choir
member and church council
member. He served as past
president of the Kings
Mountain Lions Club and
Kings Mountain Country
Club. He was active in the
community and in 1973 led
a successful campaign for a
new addition to Kings
Mountain Hospital.
He spent most of his life
with Sadie Mills Inc., where
he served as secretary and
past president.
He is survived by his wife
of 68 years, Laura Mauney
Houser; daughters, Shirley
Houser Bimrose and hus-
band Fred of Kings
Mountain, and Beth Houser
McIntyre and husband Lee
of Gastonia; sister, Lois
Houser Williams of
Clemson, SC; grandchildren,

He was a native of
Rutherford County and son

Emma Lemmons Bolton. He

ter, Linda Bolton; two grand-
children, Chuck and Marty
Bolton; three sisters, Ruby
Green, Julie Turpipseed and
Eva Green and her husband
Melvin Green, who was a
special brother-in-law and
father figure.
He was a member and

Freedom Baptist Church. He
was music director for sev-
eral area churches and
helped establish and was a
charter member of Bethel
Baptist Church, Shelby.
He volunteered for Meals
on Wheels and was a volun-
teer at the Kings Mountain
Senior Center and a member
of the Singing Volunteers.
He retired from Arlington
Industries, Gastonia. He was
a U.S .Army veteran of
World War II.
He is survived by his wife
of 72 years, Gussie Whitaker
