By KAMIE CHAMPION Hook-Up Staff Advisor Kings Mountain Country , Club played host to the third annual Mary Ann Hutchins Memorial Golf Tournament Saturday. “This tournament is our family’s way of getting information about breast cancer out to the public,” stated Buffy Murphey. “My mother lost a five-year bat- tle with breast cancer and we want to do everything we can to promote breast cancer awareness. The family has presented a total of $5,000 over the past two years and plans to award two $1,000 scholarships this year. “This was an overwhelm- ing year for the golf tourna- ment,” said Tammy Hutchins Hogue. “I was excited to see the number of golfers that participated.
