The Thursday and Friday sessions begin with a sack supper with the program running from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The Saturday session begins at 9 a.m. and concludes with a hot dog lunch and closing program for participants and parents. Dixon Presbyterian sets benefit luncheon A hot dog and hamburger sale will be held Saturday, June 28 beginning at 11 a.m. at Dixon Presbyterian Church fellowship building, 603 Dixon School Road, Kings Mountain. Hospice project receives $250,000 Reynolds grant Hospice of Cleveland County has been awarded a $250,000 grant from the Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust of Winston- Salem. The funds will be used to help finance the expansion of the Wendover facility, accord- ing to Patti Ellis McMurry, director of sup- portive services. The 8100 square foot expansion, budgeted at about $1.45 million, includes two inpa- tient rooms and six residential rooms, bring- ing the total bed count to 14. Al eight of the new rooms will feature a full private bath and a private patio. The project also includes a new living room, dining room, family kitchen, and family room as well as a new main entrance.
