Bolin receives nursing scholarship Patricia Tunstall Bolin of Kings Mountain has been awarded the North Carolina Nurse Scholars award to attend Mercy School of Nursing in Charlotte. Nurse Scholars recipients are selected by the state Nurse Scholars Commission based upon outstanding aca- demic achievement, school and community involve- ment and leadership poten- tial. Bolin’s scholarship is val- ued at $6,000 over two aca- demic years.
