Kings Mountain has been
awarded the North Carolina
Nurse Scholars award to
attend Mercy School of
Nursing in Charlotte.
Nurse Scholars recipients
are selected by the state

based upon outstanding aca-
demic achievement, school

tial.
Bolin’s scholarship is val-
ued at $6,000 over two aca-
demic years.

offer a “Powerful Tools for
Caregivers’ workshop enti-
tled “Taking Care of You,”
beginning Wednesday, Oct.
1 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at their

The six-week workshop
will continue on October 29,
Nov. 5, Nov. 12 and Nov. 19.
