Michael Roberts fires a pass for Kings Mountain Middle School in win over Crest. Patriots whip Crest 22-16 Kings Mountain Middle School’s football team bounced back from its first loss of the year to defeat Crest 22-16 Wednesday afternoon at John Gamble Stadium. Monty Deaton’s Patriots, 2-1, were scheduled to play at Shelby yesterday. They travel to Pumpkin Center next Wednesday for a 5 o'clock kickoff.
