Kings Mountain, 26-16, defeated the Wildfire from : Woodleaf, NC 6-3 in the opening round. Morgan Childers and Kristyn Funderburke each pitched three innings. Childers and Tianna Whitaker had two hits each and Jessica Yarbro, Natalyn Blanton, Amber Milwood and Courtney Tate added one each.
