A native of Cleveland County, she was the daugh- ter of the late Junius Lee and Lillie Mae Guyton Mitcham and wife of the late Austin Alexander Williams Sr. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She was a retired secretary at Mauney Hosiery in the Finishing Department. She is survived by her son, Austin Williams Jr. and wife Donna of King Mountain; daughter Toni Thompson and husband Don of Hartsville, SC; sister Cubie Lee Dunn of Gaffney, SC; grandchildren Michael Self of Cherryville, Keith Thompson and wife Fentrice of Hartsville, SC, Alan Thompson of Hartsville, SC, and Jada Dawes and hus- band Brian of Washington Court House, OH; and five great-grandchildren. She was a native of Gaston County and daughter of the late’ Charles Dewey and Julia M. Neal Mason. She was baptized at Garrison ARP Church, Bessemer City. She was formerly employed at Tryon Elementary and other Gaston County Schools. She is survived by her husband, W. Grady Hannah of the home; sons Michael E. Nicholson and wife Carolyn " of DeLand, FL, Ron D. Nicholson and wife Lisa of Lincolnton, Randy F. Nicholson and wife Lisa of Lincolnton, Jeffrey A. She was the daughter of the late J.W. and Bertha McDaniel Rogers, and granddaughter of the late Forrest and Baner McDaniel of Kings Mountain and the late Margie Miller of Danville, Va. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Dale Rogers Sr., and nephew Jimmy Dale Rogers II. She is survived by her son, Michael Johnson of Gastonia; daughter Clara Michelle Byers of Morganton; sister Doris Head of Shelby; brothers Ray Rogers of Kings Mountain and Wilfred Rogers of Blacksburg, SC; and grandchildren Kayla Byers and Brittney Coffman, both of Morganton. ~The funeral was conduct- ed by the Rev. A native of Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Samuel Zachary and Lillian Venetianer Lewkowitz. He was a tool and die maker for Pioneer Motor and Bearing Company. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of \ the late Wray Alexander and Emma Mae Ware Williams. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Janette Walker Williams, his second wife Margaret Elizabeth Rowe Williams, and sisters Mitchell Hunt and Maude McGill. He was a graduate of Mars Hill College and Wake Forest University. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He served on the Kings Mountain Board of Education from 1961-1967 and was former member of the Lions Club and active in the Boy Scouts. He served as announcer for Mountaineer football for 36 years and was an announcer for American Legion baseball and a mem- ber of Otis D. Green Post #155 in Kings Mountain. He was inducted into the Kings Mountain Sports Hall of Fame for his contribution to local athletics. He was a Major in the United States Army Air Corp, serving during World War II as an Instructor Pilot. He is survived by his daughters, Jan Williams of Columbus, OH and Hallie Connor and husband Nelson of Kings Mountain; sister Helen W. Bullock of Kings Mountain; brother-in-law Francis Hunt of Lexington; SN grandchildren Liza Dellinger Wy and husband Brian of Kings Mountain and David ’ Blanton of Raleigh; and kit great-grandchildren Mary Fo!
