To the editor,
We would like to let the citizens of Kings
Mountain know how fortunate we are to
have a great hospital. Just because our
hospital isn't as large as some of these
hospitals in larger cities, some people
think to get good service, you have to go
to larger hospitals. But have you ever
thought of great things coming in small
packages? Several weeks ago my
husband, Don McAbee was admitted to
the Kings Mountain Hospital by his doctor
E.B. Thombs with a bad and irregular
heartbeat. He was in the ICU unit for 2
weeks. Talking about a great facility! This
place is it! Dr. Thombs, ICU nurses,
technicians and everyone who took care
of him was fantastic. They treated him as
if he was the only patient there and that is
how they treat everyone of their patients.
This hospital has the very best equipment
to treat their patients, along with the
greatest staff. The love, care, compassion
and knowledge these doctors, nurses &
staff and everyone employed at Kings
Mountain Hospital have for their patients
is the greatest. There may be bigger ,
* hospitals fhat Have more equipment than
we have, but someday we may be the
best. Think about it! If you have to ever
need a hospital try Kings Mountain
Hospital. You won't regret it. Don is out of
the hospital doing good with the help from
God, Dr. Thombs, Dr. Andreou, ali the ICU
nurses & all the staff. Thanks for the
visits, cards and prayers frem all, our
pastor Rev. Robert Haynes & wife Wanda
& all the churches, love ones and friends
and relatives. God bless all of you,
Helen & Don McAbee, 200 Fairview St,
Kings Mountain, NC 28086.
